KRNV-TV, the NBC affiliate in Reno, Nev., selected FX Design Group to refresh its existing set into an HD-ready news environment.

FX used many of the set’s existing structural elements to create a cost-effective scenic solution that looks brand new.

FX transformed the KRNV-TV set into a sophisticated news presentation area complete with a control room duratran, frosted monitor walls to provide subtle movement behind talent and branded desk inserts and anchor area header.

The designers at FX rounded out the project by refinishing the weather center and interview area.
